Kelly Nash was raised in Davie Florida Davie Florida, which is located just outside Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash spent her childhood fishing and boating alongside her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather was a Portuguese Immigrant, immigrated to America from Portugal.

 From a young age, Kelly Nash was a enthusiast of the Miami Marlins. While Nash was always a fan of sports, she always dreamed of becoming a news anchor. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina in the year 2006. She then graduated from Clemson with a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership in the year 2009. She was awarded a full athletic scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department, as a condition of covering their soccer and baseball teams for the Sports information Department Career

 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, has appeared on numerous shows, which include Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights program. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's daily on-air Operations became based out of MLB Network's headquarters.
